Glass Bead Magnets

I saw a tutorial for these and wanted to try them.  I had a few "boo-boos" but once I found the right adhesive they were TONS better!  I think they're cute.

Ever tried taking a picture of glass without reflection?  Almost impossible! :)

Harley's New Toy Box

Mirror Set

We found this set of mirrors for an amazing price.  I added my stuff to it and put it up on the wall. I like it! :)

(getting a good picture without reflections of myself or the house but so you could still see what I did  was difficult..hence 4 different pictures!)

Family Name Sign

We've been needing a place to hang our kitchen towels since forever but I didn't want to settle on the ones they sell in stores.

I got this idea from a friend of mine (MacKaliJack Designs) but I changed it up some..

I'm really thrilled at how it came out!

The best part about my last 3 projects is that the hubby helped! Just another fun way to spend time together : )

4x6 Simple Picture Frame

We found this picture frame at Michael's for really cheap.  Painted it white and added my favorite part : )

Halloween Sign

So I've seen canvas projects everywhere...and I found a bunch on sale so I thought I'd give it a try.  We painted it black and added cute stuff...Here is the result:

Stoneware Canister Set

We've been wanting to update our old plastic set so when we found these last night we had to get them! Of course, with me being a vinyl freak right now, I had to label them with metallic silver vinyl (the black/silver/stainless steel matches our kitchen appliances. And how handy is it that they come with their own spoons?).

My sister asked me the other day if I'm planning on labeling everything in the house...well I just might!  Don't sit still for too long or you may end up labeled too! :)

Treat Containers

We have this counter that tends to accumulate JUNK.  So in my attempts to organize and make it nice, I did this to our dog, Dayzee's, treat containers.

Of course I didn't realize until after that I totally used Halloween colors.  Maybe subconsiously I have Halloween on the brain and don't even realize it?

This didn't turn out how I had expected.  The materials I used weren't what I thought so it wasn't what I had pictured.  It still came out super cute...We'll see after a wash cycle how it hold up.

My "mirror of inspiration"

I got this design as a free template with one of my purchases for Silhouette supplies.  I thought it fitting since when I look in the mirror I don't see beauty.  Maybe this will help...

first attempt at "craftiness"...and blogging!

My life isn't exciting...and I'm far from being a good, witty writer, but hopefully you'll join me on my journey in motherhood, wifehood and craft attempts. :)

Here's my first "craft", if it can even be called that?

I have seen a lot of people make the cutest things.  But it turns out I'm just not creative enough to come up with things on my own.  My first attempt was an idea I saw somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) for His and Hers bathroom mirrors that were etched.

Here's how mine turned out:

Not too shabby, if I don't say so myself, and super easy.  They look really neat.
